Laughter is the theme that runs this blog. And with the aim to entertain our readers we have started this blog. We will be launching weekly or monthly contests, where everybody can submit good jokes and contest for the available prizes.

The contest rules and guidelines have been discussed in the various posts on this blog. You can refer to the navigation menu for more details.

Once the contest expires, you decide the best jokes through public polls. And we will announce the results of the polls and distribute prizes to the winner.

We suggest you to subscribe to our email, so that you can get regular updates about contests and polls. Subscribing to the email feed will update you on winners so that you never miss you claim your prize.

The moment has came to kick start the first ever Joke$Contest. Without wasting any more time, Here are the points to remember for posting jokes.

1. This first contest will run for a week. The countdown timer tells the amount of time left to submit the jokes. The timer runs according to the GMT, and will expire on May 15, 06:30 PM GMT. If you are from some other time zone, the timer may seem a little off track.

2. You can submit jokes and funny phrases, that intend to bring a laugh for the readers.

3. For the contest the jokes submission is a two step process.
Step 1. Submit the joke in the comment to this post.
Step 2. Email us the joke through the contact us form.
Without this email jokes will not be considered for the contest.

4. Jokes that violate our rules of submission will be deleted permanently.

5. Don't forget to subscribe to our email feed, for a dose of laughter direct to your Inbox.

Ans.4 Contests will be weekly or monthly which will depend on administrators.

Ques.5 How much is the prize money to the winners?
Ans.5 Five winners will be decided for each contest. First prize would be of $5, 2nd would
be of $4 and so on.

Ques.6 When I will be paid?
Ans.6 Payments will be sent within 2 working days after the winner claims the prize.

Ques.7 How do I get paid?
Ans.7 Payments will be sent via alertpay or paypal as preferred by user.

Ques.8 What is claiming a payment and how to do it?
Ans.8 When the winner is decided, the winner will have to claim the payment. If he\she fails to do so then the prize will be canceled.

Ques.9 What is the secret code that I received?
Ans.9 The secret code is a unique identifier for your joke. Using this code we identify your joke. You need this code to claim your prize.

Ques.10 Why was my joke deleted? Or why did not I received the secret code?
Ans.10 Your joke violated our rules for submission that is the reason.

How JokesContest Works

To submit a joke for the Jokescontest the following steps should be followed:

Step 1: Post your Joke as a comment to Contest post with a valid email(email will not be published).

Step 2: For getting your joke considered for the contest, email the joke to us using the contact us form available in the Navigation Menu. This is very important for your joke to be considered for the contest.

Caution: If you do not email the joke to us, it will not be considered for the contest.

Step3: After you send us the joke, we will send you a secret code within 2 working days. Save the email that contains your secret code. To claim the prize you need to confirm this secret code.

Step 4: When the contest date expires, our team will select 10 best jokes for the contest.

Step 5: The 10 selected jokes will be put to public poll. When the poll expires, the top 5 jokes will be given prizes as follows:

First Prize: $5
Second Prize: $4
Third Prize: $3
Forth Prize: $2
Fifth Prize: $1

The prize amount will increase once we gain popularity.

Step 6: The winners will be announced and the winner jokes will be published on the blog.

Step 7: If your joke is one of the winner jokes, you have to claim your prize within 7 days. If you fail to claim your prize within this time period your prize will be canceled.

Step 8: Once you claim your prize, you will be paid within 2 working days.

Step 9: Enjoy your prize.

The following rules should be followed strictly while posting jokes on JokesContest. Any Joke violating these rules will be deleted at once and will not be considered for the contests.

1. Racial Jokes should not be submitted.
2. Adult jokes are a big NO.
3. Jokes commenting on some person, organization, religion, caste are not allowed.
4. Copyright protected jokes should not be submitted.
5. Jokes should be submitted only in English.
6. Jokes should not be copied from internet.

The Administrator holds the right to change the rules at any time for the betterment of the blog.

In the rat race of the 21st century everyone is trying to get in front of the other. And in this rat race one forgets to laugh and relax. Due to excessive tensions and pressures many medical problems also arise. We have started this blog so that we can create a place for people to enjoy and laugh for some time.

At JokesContest we aim to get jokes from users and allow others to read them and enjoy. But there is a twist, we will be running contests. Yes!!!!

Yes we will be running monthly or weekly contests, in which we will be selecting 10 best jokes of the month. And based on public polls, 5 of the top 10 jokes will be paid a dollar amount.(not cents)

So fasten your laughing belts, and get ready for a laughter ride. :)
